A double storey extension on an established Dalkeith home, designed to give the family more living space without compromising the character of the original house. The new upper level adds bedrooms and living areas with plenty of natural light, while the ground floor was reworked to flow seamlessly into the addition. Careful structural planning, clean finishes and thoughtful detailing through every room make this one of our proudest builds in the western suburbs.

A standard loft conversion in Floreat, transforming unused roof space into a bright studio and kitchenette upstairs. The before and after photos show just how much usable living space the family gained without changing the footprint of the home.

A heritage listed home in Fremantle reimagined for modern family life. The brief was to maximise storage and functional living space without losing the character of the original house. The result includes a beautiful new studio and a custom built shed with handcrafted barn doors and a small window detailed in sympathy with the tuckpointed brickwork. Even the materials were sourced to match the original. Rick led the heritage council approvals end to end, paving the way for a larger renovation that future proofs the home for years to come.
I found Rick on a google search to help with maximising storage space and functional utility of our heritage listed house, and haven't looked back. He carefully assessed our spaces and created a beautiful studio and built a gorgeous shed, with custom barn doors and a cute little window in sympathy with the tuckpointed house. He even sourced original materials.
Rick took the lead with all the council requirements and negotiated even better outcomes than we could have imagined. Last year, when it came to a larger renovation, he scoped the whole complex project and took our needs to the heritage council and won an approval for us that made all the difference for future proofing our home and wisely using spaces.
